Game General Hints
When you have completed flying lesson and attend a different class, go back to the flying lesson.
Go in and catch all the "glowing butterflies". You will get 20 or 25 house points.

How to beet the Devils Snare:
First, you have to put on the aiming mode (triangle). Next, you have to shoot all the tentacles that
turn light green, then a large tentacle will grow out in the middle of the stump. Go to the exact
right spot so the tentacle cantry to hurt you but it can't and after the first whip, shoot a charged
knockback jynxand it will blink red once and keep doing this until it looks drousey,then use the
Incendio spell and the gate will open and it will die.

After you find all the ingredints for snape. Talk to prof. sprout. She will award you 1 house point,
go away and go back and talk to her again she will give you another point.

Dead end carpet
Proceed with "TWO PROF.QUILLS" only when you use harrysuperjump, don’t land on the bridge. Look around
the platform for a tunnel and go into it. When you see a wall open ahead of you, go back out the tunnel
and use harry superjump to get back to the first corridor of the challenge and follow it. Eventually
you should see a carpet leading to the ceiling!

TWO Prof. QUILLS
Do the flipendo challenge until you see an odd glow to your left. You should see a bridge. Type in
harrysuperjump and try to land on the bridge. Keep on trying this until you succeed. Then you go to the
right, if you see a spiral on the wall to your right, use flipendo on it. If you don't see the spiral, go
the other way. When you hit the spiral, you should see the bridge move. After that follow the carpet to
your left and jump to prof. Quill. You should see on Prof. Quill walk out of the other and talk to you.
Try talking to both of them and see what happens.

Disabling turtles
Hit a turtle with the first spell and he just stops. Hit him with a second spell and he will turn away.
Hit him with a third spell and he will turn up-side-down. Hit him again, when he is up-side-down and he
will be pushed away. Use this to push the turtles to places where they cannot hurt you anymore, such as
in the water or any other place where you yourself would die.

Collect the 11 Gold Cards
After collecting the forty silver cards and opening the locked door on the second floor that requires
the four silver keys, you enter a "mini"- timed challenge to collect the 11 gold cards......when you
finish it, you see all the gold cards displayed on the wall, and discover that the newest one is a
"Harry potter" card.

Opening bookshelves:
At Hogwarts there are bookshelves you can open
and get prizes.
There are 2 in the Great Foyer.
There is also 1 outside the Gryffindor Common Room.
The nearest bookshelve to the portrait of the Fat
Lady can open up.

Malfoy:
When you are fighting Malfoy (in the entrance hall)
stand far away and let him throw the crackers at you.
Dodge them so that they fall on the ground. Pick
them up and throw them at Malfoy quickly.

In the beginning, when you are on the stairs
going to Herbology, you can avoid Draco Malfoy
completely. If you go down the main stairs a
little, not too much, and do a super jump
(type in HarrySuperJump), you jump over the
Malfoy trigger and avoid the confrontation.
You end up going out the front door.

Here is the way to deafeat Voldemort:
1.Hide behind the big stone pillars. When you
see Voldemort shoot the green stuff at the
pillar, when he is a little to your left, hit
the pillar with the Flipendo spell. Hopefully,
you will hit him. If you hit or miss, jump to
the side the second the pillar hits the floor.
This is very important, because you will lose
power if the dust from the fallen pillar hits
you. Hide behind another big pillar and do the
same thing, until all of the big pillars are
gone.
2. If you dodge Voldemort's shots, there will
come a point where Voldemort will cover
himself with a purple spell. During that time,
go to the back of the mirror of erised (where
you see the cracks), and shoot flipendo at it.
You will make the mirror twirl. When Voldemort
shoots at you, facing the back of the mirror,
the shots will bounce back, and hopefully, his
own shots will backfire at himself. Do this
until Voldemort is dead, and then, at the end
of the feast, you will see Snape walking into
his room, and all of Fred and George's Every
Flavor Beans will go shooting at him.
Eventually Snape will be covered with beans
and you will see Fred and George laughing
their heads off.

If you collect enough Bertie Bott beans you may
unlock an item behind a portrait at Hogwarts:
100 red beans: Advanced flipendo
80 green beans: card
70 blue beans : glove (for quidditch)
50 yellow beans: Nimbus 2000!!!

When you walk past any of the knight's in armor or
statues left click your mouse to cast a spell on
them (Flipendo) and Bertie Botts beans will
dispense. Sometimes repeating this move will
dispense more than one bean.

At four locations throughout the game, meet with
Fred and George Weasley and give them 25 Bertie
Botts. Not only do you get Wizard Cards, but
you'll see their practical joke at the end of
the game.

During flying practice, fly to the window with
the hogwarts emblem on it at the end of the
field.
It should open up and turn into a secret room
which has a card and four beans in it. Try to
slip through the hole to get in.

Hidden Areas
There are secret passages out in the hogwarts grounds (looks like a discolored
section of wall).

When you are in the hallway right after you beat the chess game you can find a
panel that is sort of a different color then all the other panels on the wall. If
you go up to it and press the square button, then you will find yourself in another
room where you are able to get extra life points and save your game, which can prove
to be very vital if you die.

Go to the sixth floor with all the ancient egypt stuff.then go to the first door on the
right. Go into the door at the end of the hallway. your presents are in one of the four
white trunks.

Feather:
To get the feather at Eylops owl emporium, pick
up the the treats and throw them at the owl in
the cemter.

In the room with the big Flipendo block, and the
hooded guy comes out and looks at you, you can
get up onto that platform by hitting the block
one away from the starting point, climbing up the
chests of drawers any jumping onto the block. Then
you jump onto the platform with the cobweb and
chocolate frog. Then you jump onto the hooded
guy's platform and walk into the room (he should
turn around, look at you and kill you).

fly near the bulding u shud see the school logo
"painted" on the wall. Fly in it and u get: a wizard
card, four bertie bot`s beans, 10 house point`s
(at the moment you ride a nimbres 2000), a fire bolt
that goes 10 faster than your old broom.

find any potion ingredient, then get that and
then go out of the screen. When you come back
into the screen, if you press A on the place that
you got your ingredient, then you will get it again.

*******AS MUCH HERBS AS YOU WANT*******
First go to a bush or something that has an herb
(octopus powder, BEZOAR STONE, bicon horn, dried
nettles, SILVER UNICORN HORN) in it then get the
herb. After that **SAVE THE GAME** then press
**A** on it again. You will get the herb again. I
have 14 BEZOAR STONES,17 Bicorn Horns and 16 SILVER
UNICON HORNS.
