Harder throws: 

While playing defense, press A and the direction
of the base you want to throw to immediately 
before the CPU catches the ball.


Better defense:

Place the game on a harder difficulty setting for
a better defense. However, the opposing team will
be more difficult to defeat.


Fireworks: 

Hit a homerun with the home team in their stadium
during a night game.


Running:

When your running to a base tap a reaptaly to run
faster.

If you create a player, put him on a team,
play on that team a little bit, trade him 
back to free agent, edit him in create-a-player
you will get more points.

Super Created Players:

When you create a player you can only use
a certain amount points to strengthen
different skills. These points can be 
raised throughout the season. Create your
player then sign him to a team. Throughout
the season release him into the free agent
list. Then go back into "create player" and
you'll gradually recieve points to be added
on (continue this througout the season and
you'll make the best player with full points
on every skill).
